Linda Stead passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on Friday May 3, 2924. Graveside service will be Saturday 11:00 am May 11, 2024 at Pavelka Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 pm Friday May 10,2024 at Bellmead Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be : Scott Fornash, Tony Labella, Mark Bettis, S,T, Graham, James Stead II and Ryan Stead. Linda was born on February 9, 1949 to Helen Matus Pospisil and Louis Pospisil at the clinic in Mart, Texas. Linda worked for Mexia State School for over 25 years finaly retiring in 2006. She loved taking trips to Louisiana trips to go to the casinos. Linda is preceded in death by her father Louis Pospisil, mother Helen Pospisil, sister JoAnn Pospisil and grandson Robert Stead. She is survived by her son James Stead II and Jessica Stead, daughter Charlene Stead Fornash, Scott Fornash. Grandchildren James Stead III, Natalie Stead, Ryan Stead, Reanna Fornash, Madison Fornash and Savanna Fornash, one great grandson and 1 great granddaughter (on the way).
