I stand with Fred in stating how great a woman Lil was. She was the face of our parish for all of these years. She welcomed my young family in 1998 and was always excited to see us. Iíve missed seeing her on the back pew for all of these months but find joy knowing that she is with her beloved Jelly. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with your entire family in this fragile time. May you find peace and comfort in remembering all of the good times. God bless you.

Absolutely one of the finest and most gracious ladies I've ever known. I had the privilege of growing up and knowing her family my entire life and am a better man because of that. Not only did I enjoy growing up around her kids but my daughter was the same age as one of her granddaughters and thus they got to share the same experience of be raised around this wonderful woman. I think of her a lot, and always will. May she finally rest for eternity, as was intended - forever and ever, amen.

I was so very sad to hear about Aunt Lil's passing. I sat with Mom on her bed and we had a good cry. Aunt Lil played a big part in my childhood....teaching me how to milk a cow, when something was ripe enough to pick, how not to eat all the peas as we were shelling them, how to catch Big Gal with a bucket of feed...just so many things that made me know I would end up living on a farm. She was a very good person and sure had a lot of patience with us kids. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but I know she is now at peace and no longer in pain. Barbara, John, Jim, and Tommy....our prayers are with you...take care.
