Send Flowers Send Flowers

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Lloyd Arthur Workman (Skip), age 64, passed suddenly on Saturday 1/2/2021 while in the hospital. Skip was a most beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Those who knew Skip will surely miss the friendly banter and quick wit he brought to into their lives.

Skip was a Deaf-Student interpreter for Sign of the Times where he gave a voice to the unheard and ears to those who cannot hear. Even in death Skip will likely save many lives as he chose to selflessly opt donate his organs.

He also had a deep love for his family & friends, campfires, and road trips. He loved a gathering of any kind and always wanted to be a part of the party. He loved music, especially guitars of all kinds and was a part of many local groups in the area over his years.

Skip will be missed every day by his Father, Don and his wife Billie, his brother Mikel, sister-in-law Linnette, former wife Debi, niece Tianna, nephew Terry and their spouses Cash and Brittany, respectively. As well as his great niece and nephews Cayne, Frank, and Hazel whom he loved as though they were his grandchildren.

Skip will be welcomed with open arms by his mom, Patricia Workman, as well has his grandparents.

A memorial service to celebrate Skip's life will be planned for later in the summer when it is a safer atmosphere to gather en masse.

For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, Skip's family would appreciate donations to Sign of the Times to provide supplies to a hearing-impaired student in need. Please send donations in Skip's honor to Darlene at PO Box 5247, Waco TX, 76708
