Richard Earl Nanny

Richard Earl Nanny went home to his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 7, 2021. A graveside service will be held at Whitney Memorial Park at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 18, 2021. Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Bellmead Funeral Home. Richard was born February 8, 1956 to Jethro (Ralph) and Ina (Jackson) Nanny in Waco, Texas. After high school, Richard joined the Navy following which he had a long career in truck driving. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and watching his grandchildren do their various activities. He treasured any opportunity to visit with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed playing poker with his friends, sister, nieces, and nephews. He was passionate about his family; he cherished his time spent with family even if it was just meeting his brothers for coffee. He is survived by his children Jeremy Nanny and wife Elizabeth, Stephen Nanny and wife Stephanie, Christopher Nanny, and Jennifer Nanny and husband Scott; grandchildren Ryan Nanny, Matthew Nanny, Cheyenne Nanny, Paige Nanny, Alexis Nanny, Destiny Nanny, DJ Nanny, Madison Nanny, Mariah Nanny, Peyton Nanny, and Nasya Nanny; great-grandchildren Carsyn Holt, Jayden Nanny, Cooper Nanny, and Riley Nanny; brothers Larry Nanny and wife Giovanna and David Nanny; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
