Edna Helen Rachui McCormick,

Born April 8, 1925, in the Marlin area. She ascended to Heaven on July 29,2021.

She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Ray (Red) McCormick, her parents, Oskar and Minnie Schroeder Rachui, and her five siblings: Ben Rachui, Marie Grams, Arthur Rachui, Edward Rachui and Evangeline (Van) Stevenson.

She is survived by her seven children: Donna Davis and her husband Jerry, Dennis McCormick and his wife Lynn, Carol Nix and her husband Jim, Dale McCormick and his wife Ellen, Penny Rosas and her husband Joe, Billy McCormick and his wife Patty, and Andy McCormick and his wife Monica. She had numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great -great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mother loved to sing and yodel and used this talent to sing in the church choir. Mother had a heart for mission work in the church and served in the nursery, where she oved to take care of the babies. She also loved to cook: especially bread! We all loved her bread! She had a servant's heart, never met a stranger that wasn't room for at the table.

Honorary Pall Bearers will be her grandsons:

Mike Davis, Greg Davis, Brian McCormick, Kevin McCormick, Matt Iannarone, Craig Nix, Jeremy Nix, Dustin McCormick and Joshua McCormick.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 4th from 6-8:00 pm at Bellmead Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Thursday, August 5th at 2:00 pm, Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen, Tx. on Saturday, August 7th at 1:00 pm.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Lake Shore Nursing Home and the Hospice Care Team who always took car of her.
