Barbara Dean (Breedlove) Kreder, of Lacy Lakeview, Texas, entered into the gates of Heaven on Sunday, August 1, 2021. Barbara was born the daughter of Boyce H. and Myrtle Mae Breedlove on April 13, 1940 in Elm Mott, Texas, the youngest of 5 siblings. She attended La Vega High School.
Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Adams and Rev. Wayne Blackshear officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the funeral home.
On December 18, 1959, Barbara married James W. "Jim" Kreder in Bellmead, Texas. To that marriage, two children were born, James Dean Kreder and Bonnie J. Brown.
There are no words to describe the relationship between Jim and Barbara. She always made her wants and wishes known, and he always made them come true, up until her final breath.
Barbara was a homemaker and a mother first and foremost all of her life, but after Jim's retirement from the Army, she worked at Winns in Bellmead, Texas. She was always proud to get the Head Cashier Award along with her many ribbons for winning the various contests.
She is survived by her loving, doting husband of 61 years Jim, her daughter Bonnie, her son James and his wife Debbie, her granddaughters, Christie Brown and Anthony, Hannah Brown and Austin and Stefanie Rubie and Marty, along with great grandchildren Arianna, Hunter, Brady and Samuel. She is also survived by one brother, Melvin Breedlove and his wife, Alfa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and 3 of her siblings Norma Jean Branstetter, Truman Breedlove and David Breedlove.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Reliable Home Health, Amedisys Hospice and Comfort Keepers for their care and support.
