Send Flowers Send Flowers

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Colton Bryant Wilson, 25, our beloved son, brother, family member and friend passed suddenly on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. He attended school at Harmony Science Academy Waco and Waco High School. He is a 2014 graduate of Waco High School. Colton will be missed everyday by many. He is survived by his parents Kelly and Ted Pickar, of Ferris, Texas, and Tracy and Tara Wilson, of McGregor, Texas. Sisters Holly Guidroz and husband Tanner Guidroz, of Lorena, Texas; Audry Stevens, of Robinson, Texas; Allie Pickar-Humphrey, of Rockwall, Texas; and Brother Bobby Wilson, of Irving, Texas. Grandmothers Kathryn Smith (Mimi) of Ovilla, Texas; and Pamela Farrell (Meemaw) of Lewisville, Texas; and close family friend Amber Kay Leslie, of Ferris, Texas; and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Those who knew Colton, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. Colton was a kind and loving person who always tried to make others laugh and smile. Colton loved games of skill and precision. He was always up for a pick-up game of basketball in the park, loved playing cornhole at parties, was an avid pool player, and just loved to be active climbing or jumping off something. He also loved his crazy, floppy-eared German Shepherd named Koda.

We know Colton is now with his grandfathers, Rodger Bryant Smith (Grand Dad), formerly of Ovilla, Texas; and Kenneth Wayne Farrell (Papa), formerly of Lewisville, Texas; and grandmother Kitty Lou Allard, formerly of Garland, Texas; and great grandmother Lura Brown (Grannie), formerly of San Marcos, Texas. We find solace knowing his most beloved dog, Blanco, was waiting for him.

Memorial services will be held at the Lone Star Cowboy Church in Red Oak, Texas at 3:00 pm August 21, 2021.

He will be missed, I agree with the climbing part especially, if there was a way to the top he would try it.

I'm going to miss you more than ever imagined. I've known since you were in your momma's belly and loved you like you were my own. I am so thankful that I have been blessed to be a part of your life. We've always had a special bond, from the time you wre learning to do things on your own and you would tell everyone 'No, Bamber do it' till up to the day you were gone. I will miss you picking on me and I picking on you. Fly high little dude. I love you so much.

Colton was the greatest person I knew. He was the life of every party, the light in a dark room, the music after years of silence. He changed my life in so many ways and I am thankful every day for the 10 years of my life that he was a part of. I will never forget the sound of his life and how contagious it was, or the way he could convince me to do things I was scared to do my whole life. I will love and cherish forever the time that we spent together, and when my kids ask what I loved most about my childhood, my answer will forever be "Colton". You will be missed so very much, Colton. It saddens me beyond belief that you are no longer with us. I hope you're up in heaven playing pool in the bog leagues. Until we meet again, I love you, to infinity and beyond❤️
