I served in the Navy.
Henry Nathaniel Bond Jr. 93, passed away April 21, 2022 at home with his children at his bedside.

Services will be 12:00 pm Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Adams officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the funeral home.

Henry was born January 4, 1929 in Junction City, Kansas to Henry Sr. and Dollie (Folck) Bond.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, La Vonne Bond on August 20, 2017; his parents; and his daughter, Connie Sue.

Mr. Bond served in the Navy and the National Guard and worked many years as a school janitor.

He is survived by his children, Dollie Kunze and her husband, Jimmy, Alice James and her husband, John, Kathi Fischer and her husband, Ed, Jerry Bond and his fiancé, Katelyn and Lorie Rae; his sister, Mary E. Butler and her family; his brother, Lewis William Bond and his family; numerous grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
