I don't remember what grade I was in when Mrs Nobles was my elementary teacher but it would have been around 1983. She was a no nonsense teacher and cared very much for her students. She was the teacher that I learned theory from and I will never forget she gave me a black and white kitten that I named Socks!!! May She rest in peace.

Mrs Nobles was my 3rd grade teacher. I was Amy Casey back then. I will never forget her teaching us the difference between dam and damn. She gave me a hug every day before leaving school. She's survived by all of the kids that she taught over the years. I tried finding her on Facebook when I got older and couldn't. But she's never been forgotten.
