Betty Bailey, 81, of Bellmead, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 7 at Bellmead Funeral Home. Graveside burial with Pat Cummings officiating will be 10:00 am at Oakwood Cemetery Wednesday, June 8.
Betty was born August 23, 1941 in Cotulla, Texas to Roy and Lucille (Smith) Lewis. She married Walter ''Butch'' Bailey on December 12, 1959 in Waco.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Butch Bailey; a daughter, Deborah Bailey; and a granddaughter, Keeley Ann Bailey.
Survivors include her and Butch's son, Bubba Bailey and wife, Tammy, of Robinson; her sister, Mary Rice, of Hillsboro; Joy Kuehl and husband, Kelly, of Hewitt, grandchildren, Shaina Good and husband, Brian, of Elm Mott, Lacey Bailey and fiancé, Nicholas, of Robinson, and Trey Keegan Bailey, of Robinson; great-grandchildren, Shannda Rogers and Khloe Good, of Elm Mott, and Kelson Schrader and Kameron Lang, of Robinson; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
