JoAnn Pospisil passed away Friday, June 17, 2022.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Pavelka Cemetery with Pastor Billy Burchfield of Williams Creek Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be before the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Saturday June 25, 2022 at Bellmead Funeral Home. JoAnn was born March 13, 1955 in Mart, Texas to Louis and Helen (Matus) Pospisil. She graduated from Axtell High School Class of 1973. She worked at Olan Mills and then MHMR until retiring. She loved Elvis and visited Graceland at least 5 times, and was an avid animal lover. JoAnn was a member of Williams Creek Baptist Church and the S.P.J.S.T. Lodge #35 in Elk, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandmother, Tillie Matus and her uncle, Ernest Matus. Survivors include her sister, Linda Stead; her niece, Charlene Fornash, her nephew, James Stead II; great nieces and great nephews, James Stead III, Natalie Stead, Ryan Stead, Reanna Fornash, Madison Fornash and Savanna Fornash; and numerous friends. Pallbearers will be Paul Hill, Joe Linkous, Scott Fornash, James Stead II, Mark Bellis, Anthony Labella and Daniel Connor.
