I served in the Marine.
Thomas Davis, Jr. of Waco went to be with the Lord on July 20, 2022. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 25 at Bellmead Funeral Home. Terry Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow at Moore Cemetery. Thomas was born on January 19, 1936 in Waco, TX to Walton and Louise Davis. He married the love of his life Myrna Anne Glass on May 14, 1960. He was a follower of Christ and a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church. He graduated from LaVega High School, served 2 years in the Marines and attended Victoria College. He was a master craftsman from tiny intricate jewelry to custom homes to multiple story buildings. He was a very talented artist, entrepreneur, and a man driven to make a living for his family. He was preceded in death by his son Kurt Lynn and his parents Walton & Louise Davis. The biggest joy in his life was his love for his family. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Myrna Anne, his daughters Leesa Dawn Davis and Monica Alyce MacGibbon and husband Michael; 6 grandchildren, Justin MacGibbon and wife Ashlee, Ryan MacGibbon and wife Lauren, Aaron Davis and wife Kelsey, Kyle Davis and Amber Davis, Rachael Bradberry & husband Cade. Great grandchildren, Maisee, Reece, Rylee, Owen, Michelle, Derek, Avery and Wesley. The family expresses gratitude to Baylor Scott and White Hospice and Bluebonnet Health Care. Donations may be made to Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas or Oaklawn Baptist Church.
