Karen Marie Swartzfager Williamson went home to be with the Lord on February 24,2023. She was born on June 22,1955 in Erie,PA to LeRoy & Marylyn Swartzfager.
She is preceded in death by her father LeRoy Swartzfager and mother Marylyn Swartzfager, step father Donald Simpson and brother Randy Swartzfager. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Williamson of Riesel, Texas. Daughter Sara Williamson of Riesel, Texas, son Kenneth (KJ) Williamson of Lumberton, NC, grandson Christian Trigleth and wife Riley of Clarksville, TN & granddaughter Paige Trigleth & fiance Chase Palm of Waco, Texas.
Karen was a graduate of Fort LeBoeuf High School. She married her sweetheart Kenny Williamson of 49 years in November of 1973. Karen was a devoted wife, mother & grandmother. Karen was a devoted military wife for 20 years, Karen then put in 20 years working as a manager for the Coast Guard Exchange, still serving and supporting the military. After her retirement, she and Kenny moved to Riesel, Texas. There she continued her military service by being an active volunteer at the Veterans One Stop in Waco, Texas. She was an animal lover especially of her basset hounds Duke, Stella & Harper.
