Helen Hodder, 73 of Gholson passed away Wednesday March 8, 2023 in a Waco hospital surrounded by loved ones. Memorial service will be 5:00 pm Sunday March 19, 2023 at Bridge Church, 3107 Harrison Dr. Bellmead, Tx.
Helen was born July 10, 1949 in Waco to Cleston Haywood Markum and Helen Marium Younce. She attended Waco schools. She is preceded in death by her husband Lee Roy Hodder Sr., father Cleston Haywood Markum, mother Helen Marium Markum, brothers Willie Ray Chapman, Joseph Taylor Markum , sister Donna Lynn Melton
Helen is survived by siblings; Ronnie and Kay Markum, Sharon Cook, Billy and Deborah Markum, Lisa and Anthony Hajek, and Terry Markum, children; Terri and Michael Faubion, Robin and Brent Light, Lee Roy Hodder Jr., Larry and Michelle Hodder. Grandkids; Lyndie and Jonathan McPherson, Candice and Zay Williams, Jennifer and Matthew Strancher, Adam and Kristi Light, Shane Light, Jordan Cornett and Kelcie Cornett, 9 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
