Joyce Earlene Dearen Batey, age 78, of Waco, TX passed away of March 30, 2023. She was born on June 30, 1944 in Houston Texas to Henry Earl and Mary Johanna Dearen
She is preceded in death by both of her parents, two brothers and two sisters, a nephew and a niece.
She is survived by her Son George Royals of Waco Texas, two Granddaughters Candice Royals and Kirstin Royals and husband and 5 Great Grandchildren, many Nieces and Great Nieces and Nephews.
Her hobbies included baking, sewing, arts & crafts, word puzzles, jewelry making, and she had a great love of Country Music. George Jones was her favorite. Joyce loved to tell jokes and laugh.
Joyce was loved by her family and friends and loved to spend time with them. She was always there and willing to help anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by many.
Joyce has opted for cremation and the family will gather at a later date to spread her ashes.
