Elwanda Lorraine Morgan,78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday April 21, 2023 at Rosemound Cemetery in Waco. Elwanda was born October 10. 1944, and grew up in Bellmead. Ellie graduated from La Vega High School and married Larry Patrick Morgan in 1963. Elwanda was selfless and loved taking care of others. She earned her nursing degree in 1996 and worked as an RN for over 20 years. She was a staple on the night shift at Providence Hospital and later at Wesley Woods and Jeffrey Place. Elwanda was preceded in death by her husband, Larry: her mother, Vivian ''Dodie'' Nix, and her dog Scooter. She leaves behind her son Scott, daughter-in-law Amy, two grandchildren, Emilee and Ethan, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
