Gera F. Anderson

Geralyn Marie (Fahrenthold) Anderson was born August 18, 1951 in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Delores (Hunter) and Walter H. Fahrenthold. She was promoted to Glory in the early hours of April 16, 2023 after a long struggle with health and physical issues. Gera was mother to 2 daughters, Shannon D (Kelley) Duran who preceded her in death, and Lynette M Kelley. Gera was grandmother of two, Kristyn D. Duran and Noah Wootan. Gera is also survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael W. Anderson of Austin, Tx., brothers Russell and Mike Fahrentold of San Antonio, Paul Fahrenthold of Corpus Christi, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Gera was a devoted, no-compromise Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, and exemplified what a lady should be. She was a true Texan who loved Sping wildflower season, with roots going back to the time of the Republic. She will be truly missed by those of us who had to stay behind, but we know we shall see her again. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Saturday April 22, 2023 at Patrick Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30- 9:30 am Saturday April 22, 2023 at Bellmead Funeral Home.
