Christopher Allen McQueen, 51, passed away Wednesday April 19, 2023 at a local hospital surrounded by family and lots of love. Memorial services will be at 11:00 am Saturday May 6, 2023. Services will be held at Calvary Chapel Waco at 702 N 18th St Waco Texas. Pastor Albert Fuentes will be officiating. The Family will receive visitors prior to the services starting at 10:30 am.

Chris was born a leap year baby on February 29, 1972 to Donald Ray and Sherian McQueen. He had a big brother Donny waiting on him when he arrived. He was raised and attended school in Robinson Texas. Chris was the proud father of three children. He became a father at a young age to his first-born son Michael Christopher and his baby girl Devan Chante. Years later he had his second son Tai Allen.

Chris loved his kids with all his heart. He also loved his grandkids and his niece and nephew very much. He had a love for Nascar and the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed going to races and football games.

Chris is survived by his mother Sherian McQueen, his brother Donny and his wife Theresa McQueen, his children Michael, Devan and Tai McQueen, his grandchildren Adrian, Nevaeh and Jaymes McQueen, his niece and nephew Matthew and Makayla McQueen and several Aunts and Uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father Donald Ray McQueen Sr., his paternal grandparents James Dean and Fayrene McQueen and his maternal grandparents Melvin and Alice Hennig.

The McQueen family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

    Chris and I grew up together. We played baseball together and had a lot of fun as kids. As happens in life I lost touch with him after school. I was stunned when I read the news. The world is a little less bright without him in it.
