Auther was born at home in San Saba to Willard and Bula Crim on May 21, 1953. He left this world at his home in Waco surrounded by his loving wife Sandra on August 22, 2023. Auther was a man of many occupations but the last one he held was a driver for Oak Farms Dairy. Through the years he worked as an electrician, on the railroad and on the harvest just to name a few. Auther had a love of the outdoors. One of his favorite places to be was the river or a deer camp anywhere with family and friends telling stories and drinking around the campfire. Auther married his love Sandra on October 17, 1997.

Auther is preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Bula Crim, His sister Dela Crim and his brother Ronnie Crim.

Auther is survived by his wife of 25 years Sandra Crim, 5 children: Christie Heneghan and husband Shaun, Stephen Crim and wife Misty, Larry Crim, Melanie Sibley and husband Jeramy, and Nathan Raines. Grand children: Mitchel Sanderson and spouse Michael, Dillon Murdock and spouse Alex, Matthew Murdock, Patrick Heneghan, Bryan Crim, Brittany Crim, Kalista Roth, Kylie Roth, Phyllip Roth, and Johnathan Sibley. Great Grand Children: Gavin Crim, Philip Murdock and Hazel Murdock.

At the request of Auther there will not be a funeral or graveside service. He requested to be cremated. There will be a celebration of life at his daughters house on August 26, 2023 at 1 pm
