Dickie J Smith, Born April 11,1955, passed away on September 15, 2023 at the age of 68.
Married to his beloved wife Kim Smith for 42 years, they resided in Axtell, TX. He was
predeceased by Mother Katherine Lawson-Smith, Father Dick Smith, Brothers: Randy, Roger,
Junior, and Guy Smith, Sisters: Johnie Rushing, and Wanda Hutyra, Daughter Destiny Smith,
Step-mother Wanda Thomas. He left behind Son Jaye Smith, his wife Selina and sons Tristin
and Jayestin. Daughter Lacey Peel and her husband Chris and son Cooper, Brothers: Jimmy
Wayne Smith and his wife Donna, Dick Smith ''Bubba'' and his wife Theresa, and Brother in Law
Kenny Voss who was like a brother. Beloved Husband, Brother, Dad, Uncle and Papaw. Dickie
worked for Fleetwood Mobile Homes for almost 30 years as a supervisor. He loved the Dallas
Cowboys, gambling, dancing, his cows, his dogs and Miller Lite. D
Visitation will be at Bellmead Funeral Home on Tuesday September 19,2023 from 6-8pm
Graveside will be at Mesquite Cemetery in Mt Calm, TX on Wednesday September 20, 2023 at
10am. Service will be officiated by Brent Voss
Pallbearers: Tristin Smith, Jayestin Smith, Raney Culp, Kyle Voss, Chase Voss, Ty Voss, and
Chris Peel
