Nancy Jean Bell-Miller, 61 of Whitney, Texas passed away on January 1, 2024, in Waco, Texas after a short battle with cancer. Visitation will be January 4, from 6-8 pm at Bellmead Funeral Home with funeral services on January 5 at 1pm also at Bellmead Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose Mound Cemetery.
Nancy was born on September 13, 1962, in Waco, Texas to Joel and Dorothy Nolan.
On April 13, 1984, Nancy gave birth to a bouncing boy, Ronnie Jr and on March 29, 1987, to a bouncing girl, Jennifer.
Nancy loved to cook and to try out different recipes. Nancy also loved to make up her own recipes. If you were out somewhere eating, and if you told her that the food was good, she would say that she could cook it better. If the food was something that she had made before, you better say that hers was better when asked. She could make a mean dewberry cobbler.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Dorothy Nolan, husband, Frank Miller, sisters, Darlene and Cathy Nolan.
Nancy is survived by her children, Ronnie Jr and Amber Bell of Riesel and Jennifer Ponder of Norman, Oklahoma; Grandchildren, Ronnie III, Gracie, Braedon, and Kaydence; Sisters, Debbie and Clifton Conner of Clifton; Carol and Tommy Harper of Gholson; Janice Nolan of McGregor; Peggy and Ricky Horn of Bellmead; Elaine and Doug House of Speegleville; brother, James and Shirley of Virgina Beach, Virgina. Nieces, Rachael and Reggie Williams of Temple; Kelly Huffman of Caldwell, Ashley Vanarsdale of Franklin, Keneisha Robinson and Sammy Webb of Waco, Rebecca and Brett Johnson of Galveston, Brittany Nolan of Mount View, California, Maggie Gray of Waco, Sherree and Eddie Stifflemire of Caldwell and nephew, Derrick Huffman and Jen Brown of Riesel along with numerous great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Ronnie Bell Jr, Ronnie Bell III, Derrick Huffman, Clifton Conner, Zach Terry and Randy Newman with Reggie Williams officiating.
Donations can be made to Susan G. Komen and American Cancer Society.
