Edward Dean Walts, 62, of Mart, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side.
Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Adams officiating. Burial will be at Criswell Cemetery near Ben Hur, Texas. Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the funeral home.
Edward Dean Walts was the son of James Edward and Hazel Juanita (Beeman) Walts. Eddie attended Riesel High School and married Patricia Lehrmann on September 20, 1979. He worked for Bain Paper Co. for over 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and a sister.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Patricia Walts; son, Andy Walts and his wife, Megan; and his daughter, Chrystal Walts all of Mart, Texas; brother, Curtis Walts and his wife, Donna of Riesel, Texas; his grandchildren, Ryllie Walts, Levi Wallace and Emersyn Walts; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Pallbearers will be Pettie Tumlinson, Keith Tumlinson, Ronnie Renfro, Mike Lehrmann, Ricky Lehrmann, Donald Lehrmann and Levi Wallace.
The family would like to express their gratitude and thank Providence Hospice for all their care and support.
