Send Flowers Send Flowers

Christopher Blake Allen passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018.

The family will have a visitation from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Bellmead Funeral Home. In prior conversations, Chris desired to have an event to celebrate his life. Family members are working to fulfill Chris's request. All his friends will be invited to attend the event, which will include a "roast" of his personality. Information will be forthcoming and placed on facebook and other media.

Chris was born May 17, 1985 to Kimberly Allen and Thomas Barfield. At a very tender age, Melody Allen Radke and Garry Radke became the very proud parents of Chris who was a blonde hair, blue eyed angel sent from Heaven to inspire everyone he met. Evidently Chris' work here was completed because he was called home to Heaven. His passions included writing songs and composing. A great joy for Chris was playing and singing in a group where he was given that opportunity. We as family thank everyone who allowed Chris to display his talents. Chris kept a daily journal which will be shared with others.

As a self-taught rock and roll historian, Chris knew everything there was to know about rock artist and their bands from their beginning through today.

Chris was preceded in death by Missy Radke.

Survivors include his parents, Melody and Garry Radke; his brother, Shawn; Kimberly Allen and Randy House; Chris' brothers, Shane and Cody; aunt and uncle, Tamara and Robert "Pops" Thorpe; and Thomas Barfield and family.

So sad to hear the passing of Chris he was a true rock fan and member of the KISS Army. I loved looking out into the audience and seeing Chris, he was a real expert of everything behind the scenes and had a great track record of predicting upcoming major tours, he certainly had a consistent track record of these coming true. There was a saying on Metal Sludge, if Chris posted it, you were 100% guaranteed of a particular outcome. How fondly we referred to him as the Nostradamus of heavy metal. I'm so glad I knew you Chris and remember the touching things you used to mouth to me when I was performing, you knew I couldn't hear you over the sound of the music but you still managed to say everything.

I worked with this fabulous guy at CGI, Belton, Tx. He made us all laugh daily. He gained the nickname "Spoons" because for every potluck, that's what he signed up to bring, getting them from our break room!! I will always laugh when ever he crosses my mind. I pray GOD'S grace and strength for his family.

I wanted to share some comfort and hope from God's word, the Bible, as He promises to bring our loved ones back to life in a perfect world where there will be no more suffering or death. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:4; Isaiah 25:8) Until that time comes, our loving heavenly Father assures us at Psalm 34:18 that he is "close to the brokenhearted" and verse 15 says that "he listens to our cry for help." So rest assured that he understands your pain and grief and is eager to help you by giving you the strength you need to cope during this most difficult time. (Philippians 4:13) I'm so sorry for your loss.
