Billie "Mimi" Boatman September 4, 1938 October 20, 2018 Billie Boatman, 80. of Axtell, Tx. Passed away October 20, 2018 in Waco. A memorial honoring her life will be 6:00 8:00 pm Thursday November 1, 2018 at Axtell Baptist Church. Billie was born to Mary and O.A. Hill on September 4, 1938 in Dallas, Texas. Billie is preceded in death by her parents Mary and O.A., Sons; Donald Gene Easter and Dennis Easter, daughter; Vicki Boatman, daughter-in-law; Cindy Easter, brother-in-law; Carlos James and her nephew Harold McCullough. Survivors include her husband of 46 years Marion Boatman, sons; Roger Easter and Keith Boatman, sister; Mary James, Grandchildren; Charlie Easter and his wife Jennifer, Stefanee Callaway, Waylon Callaway and his wife Maria, R.D. Easter and his wife Stephanie, Heather Easter, Jason and Jerod Yepma, Amy Arellano and Steven Phillips, niece; Tammy McCullough and her nephew Darrell McCullough. Billie's great grandchildren; Haylea, Kiylee, Kinsee, Kimbree, Kelcee, Victoria, Addison, Zazil, Austin, Elias, Julian, Jerod Jr., Marion, Madelyn and Jason Henry. Billie loved her family and we loved her whole heartedly. Billie achieved so much during her lifetime. She was a faithful member of Axtell Baptist Church where she sang like an Angel. She was a member of the church Bunko group and played with her friends for 17 years. But first and foremost she worshiped her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Billie was a member of the Eastern Star Association where she reached the highest honor you can, and became a Worthy Matron. Billie retired from O I Glass plant in Waco after 30 years of devotion and hard work. After retirement she decided to travel the world and learn about new cultures and countries. Travel became a passion and she cherished every adventure. Billie is the definition of a true friend to all she knew. But most of all she was a wonderful Mother and our precious Mimi. Anyone was welcome through her door. Her love for others was unconditional. She gave us love even when we didn't deserve it. Mimi welcomed all into her home with open arms and no judgements. Just Love! She always had a shoulder to lean on for everyone. Mimi's most successful achievement in life was raising her family to be Christians. Billie will be dearly missed by all that knew her, especially her contagious smile on her face when she entered a room. She was blessed with a special gift of making you feel that life will always be OK when you felt down, lost or confused. Her sweet voice and comforting arms always made life better. She will never truly be gone from us because the things she taught us will be carried on for eternity. The memories and love she left us will always be in our hearts and minds. We love you Mimi and we will never let go of all the precious memories you left us to cherish. Rest Easy Billie Girl and watch over us. We are all so fortunate to have you as our Guardian Angel. We love you and will miss you always.
