There are so many good, loving, funny remembrances of Wilburn. I've spent over a day trying to figure out a perfect Wilburn story to represent his life with no success. Some of the best stories probably ought not be told here. Others, perhaps you needed to be there to know the context. But I keep going back to my baby's childhood and how she was drawn to Wilburn. She was 3 and had a big loss in her life. When we visited Peggy and Wilburn she would just chatter away with him. Wilburn said he never understood why she took to him like that but it was clear to everyone else. He just showed her love, smiles and attention. That's Wilburn Saulter in a nutshell. Just wanting to share love and family.
