My deepest condolences to the family. Losing a loved one in death is one of the most difficult things to face. All suffering and death will soon be eliminated and we have the hope of being reunited with our loved ones who have died. (Revelation 21:3,4; John 5:28,29; Isaiah 26:19) While on earth, Jesus demonstrated his ability to bring Debbie and others back to life. (John 11:11-44) May these scriptures bring some consolation until that time comes.

My heart hurts for all of you. I lost my wife and daughter within the last three years, so I know the deep pain you are feeling. I have prayed that our loving Heavenly Father help you through this hard time. He helped me through it with some Bible verses I read. One of them gave me the hope that I could see them again. John 5:28, 29 tells of a resurrection of all those in the graves and that some of these would gain everlasting life. Another one is in Revelation 21:1-4 where Jesus describes a whole new world where people will live. It says that death, sorrow, pain and crying will be done away with. Just a note, do they have death, sorrow, pain and crying in heaven or on earth? So If we are there when this resurrection occurs we could see our loved ones again, alive and healthy, and never have to bury them again. There are answers to many questions at jw.org. Steve
