Betty Carol Wilkerson went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday April 23, 2019.
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Adams officiating.
Betty was born January 26, 1952 in Waco, Texas. She was raised in Ross and attended West High School.
On November 8, 1969 she married Mark Wicks and had five children. She spent many years staying home raising her children before becoming a nurse. She was a nurse for thirty years.
Betty loved spending time with her family and was always the life of the party. She was a giving person. She made everyone around her smile and laugh and always made everyone feel welcome.
Betty is preceded in death by her beloved parents: mother Mary "Flo" Whiteley, father Jack Whiteley Sr., and sister Patsy Kreder. She is survived by her brother Jack Whiteley Jr. and wife Leona, husband Mark Wicks, daughter Melinda Robinson, son Mark Wicks II, daughter Rhonda Underwood and husband Damien, daughter Misty Weddle and husband Paul, son Michael Wicks and wife Shayla, grandchildren Billy Robinson, Brandon Robinson, Haley Wicks, Kayla Callaway and husband Chad, Brittany Wicks, Destiny Wicks, Matthew Wicks, Andrew Wicks, Maddie Weddle, Christian Weddle, Lizzy Underwood, Ryan Underwood, and BreAnna Rieck, great grandchildren Greyson Callaway, Sawyer Callaway and numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty was very loved and will be deeply missed.
