I am so sorry about your mom, I just found out today, she was a great lady and a wonderful person. I will always treasure the time we spent together and she will always be fluffy (term of endearment) I sure loved her.

Prayers for her son, sister and family. She was a couple of years younger than me in school, but would see her at the cafeteria. She always had the biggest smile and friendly personality. She would serve us in such a way that it always made us feel special. It is an honor for me to remember her this way.

I have known Gladys for many years starting as a child when she worked at Piccadilly; I was always so excited to get to the end of the line to see "Miss Gladys" and there she would be with a big smile on her face greeting everyone. Fast forward many years later and I ended up working at the same clinic she did! To my surprise there she was with that same smile I remembered from all those years ago. She was a unique person and touched so many hearts; Gladdie, you will be missed dearly. Rest in Heaven with our Lord Savior. My deepest condolences to Eric and the rest of the family and to all who knew her.

Erick, we loved your mama like she was our own! Words cannot express how very sorry we are for your loss! Your mama always has a beautiful smile on her face and was always ready and willing to help! We will miss her terribly. As we know you will too! God bless you and may you find comfort in knowing that she is happy now, I'm the arms of her Savior! Hugs and prayers!

Gladys was the first "medical" angel I met after moving to Texas, which is interesting considering her job title. No matter how busy she was, she always took the time to be personal with me, something I desperately needed being so far away from home. I knew that she had been away from the clinic, on sick leave, but the staff would never tell me why. Heaven has a new angel these days, but I'd bet all I own that she's the one now greeting other new arrivals instead of the other way around. I am sending my most sincere and heartfelt sympathies to her family and friends. May the affection I feel for this incredibly sweet woman give you all some measure of comfort during this time of great sorrow.

There are no words to describe the loss of you, my dear Gladys. My heart aches . I will cherish all the phone conversations, eating at Luby's with Cindy, working together at Piccadilly. You loved all, and all loved you. You will truly be missed. Most of all, I will miss you saying, "I love you", at the end of our phone calls. I know Poppa and Momma Bustin will love having you with them. I know my guardian angel will be watching out for all her family, friends and her "babies" from up above. Erick you were truly blessed to have Gladys as your mom. She loved you so much and she was so proud of you. She told me you were her "angel". You learned it from the BEST. You will always be in my heart. I love you Gladys.

    Your friend always,
    Angela Fraga

I'm sorry for your loss and I wanted to send my heartfelt condolences. I personally look forward to the promise of a future, earthly resurrection. (John 5:28,29; Isaiah 26:19) We have the opportunity to see our loved ones again, here on earth, under the peaceful conditions described at Psalms 37:10,11. I hope these scriptures bring you some comfort during this difficult time.
