Wanda Jean Sager passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020.
Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Gerald Cemetery.
Wanda Jean Carr was born May 28, 1932 in Hubbard, Texas to Clifford Burnley and Mary Pearl (Hill) Carr. She graduated from Hubbard High School in 1949 and married Walter Sager on June 11, 1949.
She was a seamstress at J. M. Woods Manufacturing Co. for several years and later worked in Home Health Care in the Waco area for 25 years. Her favorite pastime was sitting in her recliner and watching the neighborhood activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her siblings, Hazel Carr, Minnie McKinley, Harold Hill Carr and Lillian Pauline Brown.
Survivors include her children, Steven Sager and his wife Anne, Ladonna Connor and her husband, Larry, Judy Richard and Gary Sager and his wife, Joy; her grandchildren, Melissa, Shaun, Josh, Courtney, Jennifer and Chase; her great-grandchildren, Jakob, Cade, Madeline and Shane; and an adopted daughter, Beth Hurd.
