Jose Luis Martinez (El Caballo) was born on August 25, 1966. He was born in El Salitrillo, Salinas De Hidalgo, San Luis Potosi, Mx. He is survived by Petra Contreras Martinez (mother), Manuel Martinez and wife Lucy, Jose Isabel Martinez and wife Maria Felix , Juan Manuel Martinez and wife Maria Consuelo, Eva Martinez (sister), Maria De Pilar Martinez (sister), Filibertha Martinez (sister), Silvestra Martinez (sister), Irma Martinez (sister), and all his nieces and nephews most importantly Jorge Arturo Martinez and Manuel Martinez Jr. He passed away at Ascension Providence on October 20, 2020 at 12:24 am. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, October 26, at Bellmead Funeral Home, 809 Laclede, P.O. Box 154116 Bellmead, Texas 76715-0116. Mass will be recited at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 27, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2621 Bagby Ave., Waco, Texas. After will be the burial at Rosemound Cemetery, 3201 South 12th Street, Waco, Texas 76706.
Luis had a wonderful character on him. He was a
loving, caring, and very funny person. He always knew how to make someone laugh
when someone was going through hard times. He was the light of the party. He
was preceded in death by his father Eliodoro Martinez Lopez.
