Danny K. Lord, 72, of Bellmead, Texas, passed away December 31, 2020 at a local hospice house. Memorial service will be 2:00 pm Thursday February 4, 2021 at Bellmead Funeral Chapel. Danny K. Lord has proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps as well as his Community as a respected Law Enforcement Officer of 16 years. Danny was awarded throughout his time of service in the Marine Corps with the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, and the Purple Heart Medal. He also received numerous Medals in his Law Enforcement career. Danny spoke about his children and how proud of them he was and enjoyed when the grandchildren came to play and swim. Danny is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and a grandchild Henry M. LOrd. Survivors include his wife of 18 years Patsy Lord of Bellmead. Daughters, Monica Collins, Ruth Kelly, Peggy Lord and Rebecca Lord, Sons, Daniel Lord and Timothy Lord and his wife Jessica, numerous grandchildren and one great grandchild, Sister, Jenny Bohannon.
