George Ann Reid Grant, 77, of Elm Mott passed away January 7, 2021 with her children, friends, and beloved nurses by her side. She was born on February 25, 1943 to Brove and Vevie Reid of Blooming Grove, Texas. George Ann retired from L-3 communication after many years of service. She loved traveling and spending time at the beach. She was preceded in death by her husband Al Grant and her parents. George Ann is survived by son Daryl Skarpa and his wife Kelli of Elm Mott, daughter LeeAnn Herod and her husband Jack of Barry, Texas. Granddaughters Danika Watson and her husband Arron, Trenton Herod, Colby Skarpa and Kelsey Pierce, Great Grandchildren, London and Aspen Watson and Maddox Jupe. One sister Linda Barber and her husband Larry, one brother Fred Alan Reid and his wife Linda Sue. Several nieces and nephews. Best friend of52 years Sharon Clark and many many other "special" "special" friends. No services are planned per George Ann's request. If you get the chance go have a dance in her honor.
