 Patricia Elaine Gaston Shepperd, 72, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 10am to 12pm at Bellmead Funeral Home. Services are at 1pm at the same location. Burial to follow at Moore Cemetery, 5137 Gholson Road, Chalk Bluff, Texas 76705.

She was a loving and caring person who opened her home and heart to everyone she met. Her babies and animals brought her great joy.

She was born on January 13, 1949 in Oglesby, Texas to Eddie Earl Gaston and Alberta Leona (Hodge) Gaston. Patricia graduated from McGregor High School in 1967 and attended MCC. She married James “Rusty” Russell Shepperd on June 13, 1969.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband, James Shepperd, daughter Becky Sturdivant and husband Randy, son Jeff Shepperd and wife Stormy, grandchildren Heather Brown and husband Tim, Meagan Morace and husband Josh, Hayle Votaw and husband Trey, Raven Shepperd and fiancé Chris, Dalton Sturdivant, Jesse Shepperd, and Jennifer Sturdivant. Her great grandchildren Elaina, Leland, and Josephina. And lots of other family and countless friends she considered family.

Pallbearers will be Trey Votaw, Josh Morace, Tim Brown, Dalton Sturdivant, Jesse Shepperd, and Chris Richardson.
