Elvira Esquivel

Elvira Rivas Esquivel, 81, passed away Sunday morning March 14, 2021.
Rosary will be
recited at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Bellmead Funeral Home
with announcement for visitation and memorial to follow.
Elvira was born
August 19, 1939 in Kirk, Texas to Federico and Eduvigen (Nabejar)
Rivas. She was a retired cafeteria worker from Connally ISD Food
Service. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and had been
a member of Social Ministries.
Elvira was preceded
in death by her parents; her uncle Pablo Nabejar; brothers, Domingo
Rivas, Joe S. Rivas, Jesse Rivas and Rueben Rivas; sister, Lydia
Rivas; and nieces, Lucy Rivas Hernandez and Renee Rivas.
Those left to
cherish her memory include, life partner of 30 plus years, Hermilo
Frias, her daughter, Becky Lopez and her husband, Steve;
granddaughter, Jennifer Chapman and her husband, Bryce;
great-grandchildren, Brayden and Bailey Chapman; her brothers, Arthur
Rivas and his wife, Lucy, Rudy Rivas, Esias Rivas and his wife, Becky
and Ricardo Rivas and his wife, Margaret; her sister, Maggie Martinez
and her husband, Joe; sisters-in-law, Florence Rivas and Bertha
Rivas; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would
like to thank Texas Home Health Care Staff and caregiver Lanette.
Also a very special thanks to niece, Janie Amaro for the extra help,
loving care and support.
