Louise Garlett Strunk, 74, of Shallowater, Tx, passed away on March 23, 2021 in Dallas, Tx. She was born to parents Archie Theodore Garlett and Elvira Metcalf Garlett, on September 3, 1946 in Hiwasse, Arkansas.

She moved to Whiteface, Texas when she was 5. She went to school in Whiteface, Tx

She went on to study at South Plains College and then went for her Business Administration at Wayland Baptist University and graduated with Bachelor's .

She worked at American Cotton Growers 21 years before retiring to become a teacher.

She was the best Mom and Nana ever!

Louise met Wilburn John Strunk Jr in 1962. They were married on December 22, 1962 in Whiteface, TX. Together they raised 3 children: Ted, Theresa, and Tiffany.

Louise is survived by her husband, John, her son Ted Strunk of Joshua, Tx a daughter Theresa (Roger)Mueller of Gunter, Tx, and daughter, Tiffany Rojas of Shallowater, Tx 3 granddaughters, Lexi Rojas, Taylor-Elaine Mueller, and Landry Rojas and 3 grandsons Hunter Mueller, Evan Mueller and Landen Rojas, a stepson John Strunk of Arlington, Tx a brother Robert Garlett of Clyde, Tx, a brother, Raymond Garlett of Whiteface, Tx, and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Archie Theadore, her mother Elvira, and her brother Jim Garlett.

The family has entrusted Bellmead Funeral Home with the arrangements. A Graveside is scheduled for March 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Riesel, TX Cemetary . A Memorial on April 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Broadview Baptist Church in Lubbock, Tx with David Rhodes officiating the memorial .
