Clemmie Arlene Mullins, 89, of Waco, passed peacefully on March 24, 2021. She will be laid to rest at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 5783 W. Lake Creek Road in Riesel, Texas. Graveside services will be held on April 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.


Clemmie was born on November 25, 1931 in Riesel, Texas to John Allen Bennett and Sarah Emmaline York Bennett. She was the 6th of 13 children and attended Riesel schools.
She married Kenneth Charles Mullins on January 7, 1953. They had six children: Sarah Sue, Deborah Lynne, Robert Randall (Randy), Kenneth David (Kenny), Kim Renea and Lisa Dawn.
Clemmie was preceded in death by her parents, John A. and Sarah E. Bennett, her husband, Kenneth, sons Randy and Kenny and daughter Kim; brothers John Bennett Jr., Bill Bennett, M.L. "Pug" Bennett, Roy Bennett, Don Bennett and a stillborn infant brother, Roger; her sisters Beatrice Bennett Black, Lola Bennett Brunson, Ruby Bennett Honaker and Betty Bennett Fleischhauer along with several nieces and nephews.
Clemmie is survived by her daughters Sue Mullins, Deborah Mullins Peal and Lisa Mullins Shaw, her sister Helen Bennett Taylor and brother, Dan David Bennett; 9 grandchildren: Brandon Alcala, Deirdre Merry, Justin Heath, Michel Mullins, Shelby Shaw, Tina Mullins, Keith Mullins, Kevin Mullins and Kendra Mullins and several great-grandchildren.
Thank you to Quality Care of Waco for lovingly caring for mom the last year's of her life...you are ALL appreciated so very much! Also thank you to Community Healthcare of Texas (formerly Providence Hospice) for their care as well.
