Ignatius Henry Hutyra, of Elm Mott, Texas passed away Friday, April 23, 2021.

Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Parkview Baptist Church with Bro. Joseph Crenshaw and Bro. Kenneth Hutyra officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in West, Texas. Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, April 26, 2021 at Bellmead Funeral Home.

Ignatius was born October 25, 1934 in West, Texas to Ignatius and Anastacia Annie (Sulak) Hutyra. He graduated from West High School May 28, 1954. He served in the Air Force from 1955 to 1963. He retired from General Tire & Rubber Co. in 1987 after 28 years of service. He worked for Elm Mott Water Department for several years and had a landscape company.

Ignatius married Rosalee Gaskamp June 9, 1967.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Walter Hutyra and Patrick Hutyra; his sisters, Angela Kelinske, Margaret Cocek, Evelyn Wilson, Bridgette Wrbas, Bennie Koen, Bernice Lichnovsky and Josephine Kocian.

Survivors include his, wife Rosalee Hutyra; his son, Kenneth Hutyra and his wife, Maria; his daughter, Barbara Carter and her husband, Bill; his grandchildren, Courtney Smithey, William Hutyra, Christina Nelms and Arturo Nelms; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Preston Gaskamp, Patrick Lee Hutyra, Michael Meadors, Edwin Sulak, Dwaine Lichnovsky and Johnny Barnhardt.

Thank you to Greenview Manor Rest Home staff for their dedicated care for Dad. Hillcrest Emergency and ICU staff for their compassionate care during dads passing.
