Stuart Craig Simons, 79, of Bellmead, Texas,
succumbed to cancer surrounded by his family on October 30, 2021.

Craig was preceded in death by his wife Ann
of 50 years, and his mother and father Elmo and Lottie Simons.  He is survived by his daughter, Carla Hennig
and son-in-law Clarence Hennig, granddaughter Emily Cheslock and her husband
Brandon Cheslock, granddaughter Erin Hennig, brother Ken Simons and wife Lois
Simons, niece Kenna Glendening, and nephew Brian Simons. Craig was a loving
father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone.

Craig worked at Baylor University for many
years and loved to watch his Baylor Bears play football.  After retiring from Baylor, he started a
second career as a police officer.  He
served on the Bellmead Police force from 1993-2010.  He would often talk about his days on the
force and his fondness for Chief Robert Harold, who served as a mentor and
friend.

A special thank you to Bluebonnet Hospice
for their superior care in his last weeks.
Especially to Nikki, Laurie, and Tysha.

There will be a visitation at Bellmead
