Verna Jean Coffee Compton Kravec, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021 in Carrollton, Texas.
Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Prairie Hill Cemetery with Frank Pruitt officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday, November 8, 2021 at Bellmead Funeral Home.
Verna was born February 18, 1934 in Limestone County, Texas. She was employed at Cox's Department Store for several years and then the janitorial department at Connally ISD until retiring.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Elton Compton; her husband, Joe Kravec of West; 3 sons, Larry, Ricky and Michael Compton; her brother, Johnny Coffee and her sister, Dora Howard.
Survivors include her daughter, Ilana Presley and her husband, Chuck; her grandchildren, Chuck Presley and his wife, Kacey, Sarah Koski and her husband C. J., Brian Eaton and his wife, Nikki and Jennifer Eaton; her great-grandchildren, Riley Presley, Maddie, Bekum, Sloan and Dawsen Koski, Jack and R. J. Eaton and Bella Eaton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
